1. Data Collection

ContentStudio collects information you provide directly when creating an account, including your name, email address, and organization details. We also collect usage data automatically, such as pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns within the platform.

When you use our AI features, the content you submit (articles, keywords, chat messages) is processed to deliver results. We do not use your content to train AI models.

2. How We Use Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve ContentStudio services
  • Process your content through AI models for analysis, writing, and optimization
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing notices)
  • Monitor usage to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse
  • Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve the platform

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Vercel. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Database backups are performed daily and retained for 30 days. We store your data in the EU and US regions, depending on your account settings.

4. Third-Party Services

ContentStudio integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its features:

  • AI Providers -- OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, and xAI for content generation and analysis
  • Supabase -- Database hosting and storage
  • Vercel -- Application hosting and analytics
  • DataForSEO & Serper -- Keyword research and SERP data
  • Better Auth -- Authentication and session management

Each third-party provider operates under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Cookies

ContentStudio uses essential cookies to maintain your authentication session and preferences. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregated, privacy-friendly usage metrics -- no personal identifiers are tracked. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access -- Request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Correction -- Update or correct inaccurate personal information
  • Deletion -- Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export -- Download your content (articles, research, templates) in standard formats
  • Restriction -- Limit how we process your data while a complaint is resolved
