Data Collection
Automwise Content collects information you provide directly when creating an account, including your name, email address, and organization details. We also collect usage data automatically, such as pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns within the platform.
When you use our AI features, the content you submit (articles, keywords, chat messages) is processed to deliver results. We do not use your content to train AI models.
How We Use Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Automwise Content services
- Process your content through AI models for analysis, writing, and optimization
- Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing notices)
- Monitor usage to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse
- Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve the platform
Data Storage
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database that we self-host in Docker on dedicated servers provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, located in the European Union (Germany). All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+, access is restricted to authorized systems, and database backups are performed daily and retained for 30 days. Your data is processed and stored exclusively within the EU.

Automwise Content integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its features:

- OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, and xAI for content generation and analysis
- Hetzner
- Dedicated server and database hosting in the European Union

- Privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics

- Keyword research and SERP data
- Better Auth
- Authentication and session management
Each third-party provider operates under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access
- Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction
- Update or correct inaccurate personal information
- Deletion
- Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export
- Download your content (articles, research, templates) in standard formats
- Restriction
- Limit how we process your data while a complaint is resolved
